headertoon-location1The Pet Vet Animal Hospital at 4520 Heights is on the north (westbound) feeder road of I-10 between North Shepherd and Patterson Street. It was the first of the Pet Vet facilities, established in 1976. The present building provides about 3,000 sq. ft. of floor space and was constructed in 1982 and remodeled in 1998.

Dr. Mark

Dr.-Mark-photo2Dr. Mark is a second generation veterinarian. Dr. Mark is one of the founders of Pet Vet Animal Hospitals and has been in practice for over 48 years. He loves what he does and plans to continue for some time into the future. Dr. Mark has 4 children and lives in Sugar Land. He is an Eagle Scout and remains a Scout Leader. Dr. Mark loves animals and people as well and hopes to meet you soon.

Dr. Matlock

Dr Sue Matlock has been practicing veterinary medicine with Pet Vet Animal Hospitals for 9 years. Although a native of Mississippi, she obtained her doctorate at Texas A&M University. She is a truly a borne and bred southerner. Presently she does general practice at the Heights location in Houston. Her calm and quiet nature soothes and comforts her patients.  A songwriter and musician, she plays rock guitar and funky bass for nursing homes and shut-in seniors. She shares her century-old farm house with 2 german shepherds and a cat named Smudge. An avid reader, she can often be found in the library or bookstore in the historical fiction or philosophy sections or riding the highways on her harly.

Dr. Williams

Dr-Williams2Doctor Williams graduated from the American School in London in 1976. From there he went to Texas A & M University and graduated in 1980 with a BS in Biomedical Science and in 1984 as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. He worked at King Blvd. Animal Hospital prior to joining Pet Vet in 1987. Dr. Williams enjoys landscaping and keeping fit by running.

Dr. Parham

B-Parham-photo2Dr. Parham graduated from Texas A&M University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. She is a proud Houston native and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Houston Downtown. Dr. Parham is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association and Harris County Veterinary Medical Association. In her free time, she loves camping, traveling the world, watching live music of any kind and spending time with her family, husband and furry children: Robert (cat) and Ladybird (pup).
