The Pet Vet Animal Hospital on the Southwest Freeway was established in 1982. It is currently the largest hospital with over 5,000 sq. ft. devoted to patient care and veterinary products for your pet. The hospital is in a retail center on the southeast corner of Bissonnet and I-59 South. Access from I-59 is via the Bissonnet exit, going in either direction.

Dr. James Sloat, D.V.M.
Dr. Sloat is a native of Memphis, Tennesee. He was a member of the first graduating class from the University Of Tennessee College Of Veterinary Medicine in 1978. Upon graduation, he was engaged in a mixed animal practice in Ohio and then joined Pet Vet Animal Hospitals in 1980 as a co-owner.
