The Pet Vet Animal Hospital serving the Southeast Houston and Clearlake areas is at 1520 West Bay Area Blvd at Baybrook Mall. Access is west on Bay Area Blvd off I-45 South and right into the second mall entrance. It is a free standing building in the mall parking lot. The hospital contains over 4,500 square feet and includes a spacious area for display of pet foods and supplies.

Steve Koenig, D.V.M.
Dr. Koenig is a native Texan. Born in 1955 in Corpus Christi, he graduated from Sam Rayburn High School in Pasadena, Texas. Following his graduation from Texas A & M Veterinary School in 1978, Dr. Koenig joined Pet Vet Animal Hospitals in 1986.

Dr. Koenig and his wife, Cathy, have a cat, a German Shepherd, a Blue Heeler and shih-tzu mix. He lives in Clear Lake City.

Evelyn Marie Sierra, D.V.M.
Dr. Sierra is a 1993 DVM graduate of Texas A & M Veterinary School. In addition to her doctorate degree in veterinary medicine, Dr. Sierra holds a PhD in Veterinary Anatomy from Texas A & M. Dr. Sierra’s areas of interest are internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. She is the proud owner of a yellow lab named Casey, a husky mix named Foxy, two cockatiels named Moe and Izzy, one African Grey named Ivory, and two Amazons named Red and Goose. She is married to Ed C. Sherman, and they have a daughter Marta Elena Sherman.
